Vibrant in colour, the wine displays intense dark fruits of blackberry, black cherry with hints of charred French oak, liquorice and subtle mint.
The palate is rich by Hunter standards. Silky and textural with concentrated fruits of blackberry and black cherry, with underlying spice and liquorice. The tannins are soft and well-integrated and the wine has a seamless, integrated profile with amazing length and persistence.
Drink anytime from 2026, but will be at its best in 10+ years.

About Lake's Folly Hill Block Shiraz
The 'Hill' at Lake's Folly is, without question, one of the finest viticultural sites in the Hunter Valley. Heavy, red soil overlays a distinctive limestone layer that produces wine of exceptional depth and character.
This 2024 vintage is only the 6th of our Shiraz bottled as a single varietal, in Lake's Folly's more-than-sixty-years history.
