Contains 12 x bottles Lake's Folly 2022 Hill Block Chardonnay 750ml
The nose displays hints of lemon sherbet, with peach characters. Perfectly-integrated French oak (we used mostly 500-litre barrels) gives the wine a classy finish, displaying just the right balance of subtle oak influence.
The palate is silky and seamless, with great acid balance and length of flavour. Generous peach characters are also evident, however, the class and style of this wine is what dominates. The oak influence is in perfect balance: barely noticeable, yet perfectly-integrated.

About Lake's Folly Hill Block Chardonnay
The 'Hill' at Lake's Folly is, without question, one of the finest viticultural sites in the Hunter Valley. Heavy, red soil overlays a distinctive limestone layer that produces wine of exceptional depth and character.
Slightly richer in style than the 'traditional' Chardonnay produced from the original plantings grown on the flat, this 2022 Hill Block Chardonnay will drink well young, however we recommend waiting 2-3 years as a minimum, or 8-10 years (if you can be patient) when it will be at its optimum as a beautifully-aged wine.
