Lifted red cherries jump from the glass, accompanied by hints of char and earthy/savoury notes that are so typical of classic Hunter reds at their best. The palate is rich and generous, by Hunter standards, with red and black cherry, and blackberry fruits dominating the palate.
The use of large-format casks (500-litre puncheons) creates a perfect harmony of fruit and oak. Delicious, beautifully-ripe Hunter Shiraz from a standout vintage - as good as they get! Drink from 2030 to 2040.

About Lake's Folly Hill Block Shiraz
The 'Hill' at Lake's Folly is, without question, one of the finest viticultural sites in the Hunter Valley. Heavy, red soil overlays a distinctive limestone layer that produces wine of exceptional depth and character.
This 2023 vintage is just the 5th straight Shiraz produced by Lake's Folly in its more-than-sixty-years history.
