Peach/stone fruit aromas on the nose, with notes of quality French oak and hits of char. On the palate, ripe Chardonnay fruit dominates, complemented by perfectly-balanced oak, creating an utterly seamless wine with great layering, balance and richness. Yum! Drink from 2025 to 2034.

About Lake's Folly Hill Block Chardonnay
The 'Hill' at Lake's Folly is, without question, one of the finest viticultural sites in the Hunter Valley. Heavy, red soil overlays a distinctive limestone layer that produces wine of exceptional depth and character.
Slightly richer in style than the 'traditional' Chardonnay produced from the original plantings grown on the flat, this 2023 Hill Block Chardonnay will drink well young, however we recommend waiting 1-2 years as a minimum, or 8-10 years (if you can be patient) when it will be at its optimum as a beautifully-aged wine.
